In Case You Wondered Yesterday Night If An Earthquake Happened, Here Is The Answer

JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-FORT DIX-LAKEHURST - A National Guard battalion conducted an unannounced firing training on Sunday night that startled residents with explosion noises and vibrations that rippled into surrounding towns.
Employees were supposed to warn local residents of the training ahead of time, but some agencies miscommunicated and notifications weren't posted onto the base's social media accounts, said Senior Airman Lauren Russell in an email to the Press on Monday.
The training, which involved soldiers firing 105 mm howitzers, was originally planned to span Feb. 9 through Feb. 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but a snowstorm blew through the state and upset original training plans, Russell said.
